SMS Terms
Genesis Ministries of Rockingham County sends one-to-one informational text messages only when a person calls our receptionist, asks for a specific public-information link, and gives verbal consent during that call. Messages contain only the requested link, such as a student application, volunteer, donation, thrift store, pantry, or newsletter page. Genesis sends no recurring marketing, fundraising solicitations, or unsolicited messages.
How you opt in
Verbal opt-in only. During a caller-initiated phone call, after the caller asks Genesis Ministries of Rockingham County for a specific public-information link, the receptionist says: “I can text that resource link to the number you’re calling from. You’ll receive one informational message for this request. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help. Would you like me to send it?”
Only an affirmative answer given immediately after this disclosure authorizes one message to that caller. The caller may decline, and consent is not a condition of receiving ministry services.
Message frequency and costs
Message frequency varies and is generally one message per caller-requested link. Message and data rates may apply. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Privacy
Mobile numbers and SMS consent records are used only to send caller-requested informational links and honor opt-out or help requests. Mobile numbers and SMS consent information are not sold or shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
