**Thrifty Boutique Store Manager**
Location: Genesis Ministries Thrifty Boutique
SUMMARY OF POSITION
Genesis Ministries Thrifty Boutique is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Store Manager to oversee daily operations, provide exceptional customer service, and lead a team of staff and volunteers. The ideal candidate will be passionate about supporting our mission to serve the community through sustainable retail practices while fostering a welcoming, organized, and faith-driven environment.
Store Hours:
Tuesday – Saturday, 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Key Responsibilities:
- Store Operations:
• Oversee all aspects of daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures, ensuring a clean and organized shopping environment.
• Manage inventory intake, pricing, display, and rotation to optimize sales and maintain store appeal.
• Implement merchandising strategies to promote sales and showcase donations effectively. - Staff and Volunteer Management:
• Recruit, train, and supervise staff and volunteers, ensuring alignment with the boutique’s mission and values.
• Foster a positive and inclusive work environment that encourages collaboration and engagement.
• Schedule and delegate tasks effectively to meet store needs. - Customer Service:
•- Provide a welcoming and compassionate experience for all customers.
• Resolve customer concerns and inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
• Uphold the ministry’s values of integrity, kindness, and stewardship in all interactions. - Financial Management:
• Achieve sales and revenue goals by analyzing store performance and implementing improvement strategies.
• Maintain accurate cash handling, deposit, and financial reporting practices.
• Work within budget guidelines and identify opportunities to reduce costs. - Community Engagement:
• Act as an ambassador for Genesis Ministries, building relationships with local organizations and supporters.
• Organize and participate in events to promote the boutique’s mission and generate community involvement. - Mission Alignment:
• Ensure all store activities and operations reflect the core values of Genesis Ministries.
• Support the boutique’s role as a resource for the community, offering affordable goods while advancing the ministry’s charitable initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in retail management, nonprofit, or ministry-based work (thrift store experience preferred).
- Proven leadership and team management skills.
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication abilities.
- Ability to multitask and adapt to a fast-paced retail environment.
- Familiarity with point-of-sale systems, inventory management, and basic financial reporting.
- Passion for serving the community and supporting ministry-driven initiatives.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
- Capability to assist in moving and organizing donations and inventory.

**Residential Weekend Tech**
Organization: Genesis Ministries Women’s Division
Schedule: Friday 4:00 PM – Monday 8:00 AM
Location: Undisclosed in Rockingham County
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Supervise and engage with residential students throughout the weekend.
- Monitor and oversee phone calls in accordance with program guidelines.
- Administer daily vitamins and ensure students follow wellness routines.
- Transport students to church and other approved activities using the company vehicle.
- Foster a supportive environment by providing encouragement and mentorship.
- Facilitate recreational activities, including playing games and watching movies.
- Enforce house rules and ensure students adhere to program guidelines.
- Report any concerns or incidents to the program manager.
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:
- A heart for ministry and a passion for helping others grow.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to set healthy boundaries while maintaining a supportive role.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
- Previous experience in a residential or mentoring setting
